Co-Founder at Zymrat
Ujjawal is a fat to fit strength conditioning athlete, a serial entrepreneur and currently a co-founder at Zymrat - an innovation led performance wear brand competing directly with global giants with its high quality IP products. The long term vision for Zymrat is not only to build a successful and leading activewear brand out of India, but to also ensue belief in the ever growing Indian customer base with active lifestyle that we as a country have the right to make and consume world class products without needing to burn a hole in our pocket, and at the same time when rest of the world does.
More than 70% products from global brands never see the face of India because India is not considered a primary sportswear performance wear market which can command first access to innovation. Zymrat is solving this problem by spending 3x on its raw materials and developing unique technology in house to compete with who's who of the performance wear industry.
Ujjawal decided to start Zymrat after having a successful stint as an entrepreneur with his technology consulting firm, and after undergoing a fitness transformation which brought him closer to the community and made his personal pain point of price point vs quality gap in the Indian market in the activewear category more relevant.
Founder & CEO at Jaey
An MBA from XLRI and an ex-Investment Banker, Jaini aims at changing the way women shop for clothes in India. She believes that every woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin, no matter her size or shape! She founded Jaey with the aim of disrupting the stereotypical way of sizing clothes, or people, by letters (S/M/L, etc.) or numbers (10/12/14, etc.), using a path-breaking AI-enabled measuring technology.
Jaey is a tech-enabled bespoke women's western-wear brand, that offers customizable, premium clothes, in Size: YOU - your body, your size! Its "Virtual Tailor" accurately captures 70+ measurements using just 2 photos in just 2 mins, through a phone, sitting at home. You would have never experienced a measuring process as smooth, quick, and accurate as this! The question to you is - why would you go for standard clothes when you can get them tailor-made, as per your style and in your size, at the same price and time, as the ready-made ones?
New fashion startups are launched every day, all over the world. With fashion technology getting smarter, you will be at the center of a new universe. This new universe will cause dynamic transformations and provide you with predictive algorithms that give you accurate and actionable insights. It might sound futuristic, but technology has already begun to conquer the worlds of fashion, retail, and innovation. Some of the biggest brands are currently working on wearable technology that is effective and appealing to wear.
Given our focus on smart apparel technology, fashion and technology will inevitably become one. Innovation in fashion will never be the same. The worlds of technology and fashion are equally engrossed in each other.
When you wear something, irrespective of whether it includes a microprocessor or not, you are affirming an aspect of your identity or your aspirational self. It becomes a means of self-expression. While technology solves problems, fashion is aspirational, narrative, lyrical, creative, and inspired.
